Each StudySesh plan is individualized and designed around how a student learns — not just what they need to cover.

How It Works

1 - Brief intake call or chat to understand goals, timeline, strengths, and concerns

2 - Students take a skills assessment to determine strengths and areas of development.

3 - A plan is created based on the number of projected sessions and the outcomes of the skills assessment

4 - A highly-trained instructor teaches the material based on the plan, adjusting when necessary

5 - Students take Bluebook practice tests every few weeks to measure growth (SAT Prep)

Tutoring with Intention

StudySesh provides thoughtful, personalized tutoring that builds confidence, strengthens skills, and supports steady progress in both academics and test preparation. Based in Tampa, Florida, StudySesh offers tutoring in English Language Arts and Math, along with focused test preparation for the SAT, SSAT, and HSPT. Instruction is guided by careful assessment and tailored to each student’s needs, allowing sessions to focus on the areas that matter most. The result is measurable improvement, transferable skills, and increased confidence.

StudySesh was started by Stacy Malin, a master’s-level English teacher with a deep interest in test prep and a passion for helping students develop their literary skills. Stacy has vast experience working with students at all levels, including AP and honors-level students, neurodivergent students, and English Language Learners.
